At Fuel, we are always looking for ways to make managing your orders as simple and efficient as possible. We are excited to introduce a new feature that allows you to generate invoices directly within the Fuel app. This step-by-step guide will help you navigate this new feature and make the most of it.
Step 1: Update Your Invoice 'Bill To' Information
To ensure your invoices are accurate and complete, start by updating your billing information in the app’s settings.
Open the Fuel App: Launch the app on your device.
Navigate to Settings: Tap on the settings icon.
Add or Update ‘Bill To' Information: Enter or update your invoice ‘Bill To’ information. This information will be used to prefill your invoices, making the process faster and more convenient.
Step 2: Generate Invoice from Order Details
You can generate an invoice directly from your order details page for any paid order.
Go to Order Details: Find the order you want to generate an invoice for in your order history.
Select Generate Invoice: Tap on the “Generate Invoice” option.
Edit Prefilled Information (Optional): If you need to make changes to the prefilled information from your settings, you can do so at this stage.
Step 3: Save or Export using One-Off Information
When editing the prefilled content, you have two options:
Save to Account: If you want to save the edited information for future use or override existing information, check the checkbox to save these changes to your account.
One-Off Invoice: If you prefer to generate the invoice with the one-time information you entered without saving it to your account, simply leave the checkbox unchecked.
Additional Tips
Regularly Update Billing Information: Keep your billing information up-to-date in the settings to ensure that your invoices are always accurate and complete.
Check Before Saving/Exporting: Double-check the information before saving it to your account or exporting PDF to avoid any errors.
