Firstly, please download the CSV template. Once you have downloaded the CSV file, use the chart below for a description of the columns.

Note:

  • The term "string" used below refers to a set of characters that can also contain spaces and numbers.

  • Be sure to review your products and orders in the Fuel app to ensure that they line up with your expectations. If they do not:

    • See this article to edit your existing Fuel product,

    • See this article to cancel a pending order.

  • Note: Color must be a valid color available for the provided Product ID and the beginning of each word must be capitalized.

Size

  • Yes.

  • No, when using Composed Product ID.

  • String.

  • Examples: 11oz, 15oz, XS, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 11x17, 17x11, 36x24.

  • Note: The size must be a valid size available for the provided Product ID.

Product Title

Yes.

  • String.

  • The value is used to identify the product in the Fuel App easily.

Front Artwork

Yes.

  • URL or string.

  • Image to use in the front of the product.

  • Note:

    The URL must be a PNG or JPEG.


    If using a direct image URL, the file must be public.

    If using an already uploaded design to the Fuel gallery, the value must match an existing image in the Design Gallery with the file extension.

Front Artwork Position

No.

  • The position where the artwork will be placed.

  • Default value when left blank: Center (top and center for DTG printing).

  • String.

  • Allowed values: C, LC, RC.

  • For Posters, Mugs, and Cases, this value is always C, even if something else is specified.

  • LC corresponds to the left-hand side of the product (as if you were wearing it, your left-hand side).

  • RC is the opposite.

Front Artwork Size

  • No.

  • Yes, when opting out of the default values for artwork positioning parameters.

  • Size of the width of the artwork.

  • Default value when left blank: the system will optimize image size to fit the printable area.

  • Number.

  • Height is scaled proportionally based on the aspect ratio of the artwork.

  • Examples: 5, 13, 50, 100, 2.

  • For apparel, this value is in inches.

  • For Posters, Mugs, and Cases, this value is in percentage from 1 to 100.

Front Artwork Vertical Offset

  • Number.

  • How far from the top of the printable area will the artwork be placed (neck for apparel) relative to the center of the artwork.

  • For Posters, Mugs, and Cases, this value is in percentage, from 1 to 100. It is measured from the center of the artwork.

  • For apparel, this value is in inches.

Front Artwork Horizontal Offset

No.

  • Number.

  • How far to the left or the right is the artwork positioned relative to the center of the artwork.

  • Only Posters, Mugs, and Cases allow a horizontal offset.

  • This value must be in percentage, from 1 to 100.

Back Artwork

No.

  • URL or string.

  • Image to use in the back of the product.

  • Note:

    The URL must be a PNG or JPEG.


    If using a direct image URL, the file must be public.

    If using an already uploaded design to the Fuel gallery, the value must match an existing image in the Design Gallery with the file extension.

  • Mugs, Posters, Cases, and Hats do NOT support a back artwork.

The order sets the horizontal and vertical offsets to 50%; the artwork is placed at the center of the poster. Remember, the horizontal and vertical offsets are relative to the center of the artwork.

And for width, as it was also set to 50%, it takes half of the printable area.

The height is scaled proportionally based on the width, and as it is a square, the height is the same as the width.

Mugs

Latest change on Mug artwork sizing when a 100% image size is requested:

  • Old version: 100% of width refers to both sides of the mug.

  • New version: 100% of width refers to only 1 side of the mug.

Image Autofit

Garment and Totes

Based on your image aspect ratio, there will be three scenarios:

  • Your image aspect ratio is equal to the product print area aspect ratio: The image will be sized so it perfectly fits the product design area.

  • Your image aspect ratio is greater than the product print area ratio: The image will be sized so its height is equal to the product print area height.

  • Your image aspect ratio is smaller than the product print area ratio: The image will be sized so its width is equal to the product print area width.

Other Product Categories

The image will be optimized for maximum coverage of the print area.
